Walki has initiated earlier the actions to limit the travelling of Walki employees until the risk of Coronavirus has gone down. Our employees should primarily follow the instructions and guidance given by the local authorities. In addition, Walki has given own instructions to protect the employees;
• All business travelling is not allowed until further notice without exceptions.
• Home office for all non-production critical persons.
Walki decline to receive visitors at all of its plants or offices worldwide until further notice.
• No physical meetings. All meetings should be arranged via Skype/Teams/phone.
All 13 Walki manufacturing facilities are currently operational. The company is closely monitoring the situation and taking strict health and safety precautions at all plants to protect the wellbeing of its employees and all stakeholders. Countermeasures and contingency plans have been put in place where an increased risk of supply disturbances has been identified. The measures include e.g. increasing the safety stock in the overall supply chain and broadening the use of different logistic solutions with the aim of ensuring uninterrupted supply to our customers.
Walki will regularly evaluate the situation and the official recommendations and update the guidance accordingly.
