Miller Impression Award 2016 prizes were announced at the Miller Flexo Forum in Sunne, Sweden. Walki was victorious and collected a first prize in the category of “Flexible Paper Process".
The first prize was for Nils Sperre, a preprinted liner used in a solid board box for frozen seafood.
The arguments for the Walki’s success were:
Winner has selected the right design to be applied on the particular substrate, resulting in a print which displays lively and dynamic colors, according to the jury. The design show fine definition with detailed shadow work in the white areas. The detailing is exquisite with excellent repro work. The print technical challenge of this design has been expertly executed with both the solid printed areas as well with the well balanced tonal gradations.

"Miller Impression Award" is a competition which is held every four years. It is competition, which has been organized by Miller Graphics Group and the "Nord Emballage"–Swedish packaging journal."
Comprising eight categories of the competition was attended by over a hundred designs from all over Europe.
The competition is intended to act inspiration for the entire industry and encourage the development of new solutions. Packaging with perfect printing has become an increasingly important competitive tool to stand out from the competition with a barrage of trade and consumer requirements. "
