- high protection packaging Walki®Steelex metal wrapping solutions are well know for meeting the highest protection requirements of the steel industry. We provide explicit solutions for different end uses and metal applications. Different types of steel, ways of transportation as well as the way of handling and preparation require customized solutions with well selected high quality raw materials. The Walki®Steelex products are manufactured with: VCI/ACV systems. Domestic Transportation
Used for steel plates, saw blades and metallurgic parts. Moisture barrier provided by kraft paper and LDPE. Extra moisture barrier can be achieved through an additional HDPE film. More than 80 % of the product is from renewable sources.
Walki®Steelex Mono light
Walki®Steelex Mono light is a more sustainable metal wrapping made from 100% PP. It’s up to 30% lighter then conventional metal wraps, but still providing excellent protection.
Moisture control is provided by a hydrophilic nonwoven whilst the woven fabric gives the product exceptional strength. A VCI coating can be added on request. The product is design for a closed life cycle and a network of recycling companies is established for collection after usage. Steelex Mono can be manufactured in multiple Walki plants making sure we are always close to the customers

 Walki®Steelex G13
A good quality export packaging material, which uses strong kraft paper, reinforcement netting, and LDPE coating. The reinforcement netting gives Walki Steelex® G-13 a high tear resistance. It uses an interlocked reinforcement material, superior in quality to scrim reinforcement in which the threads lie loosely together. An LDPE coating makes Walki Steelex® G-13 waterproof, so no water will penetrate the packaging.
 Export Shipment
Used for steel coils, plates, saw blades and metallurgic parts. Moisture barrier provided by crepe paper and LDPE. Extra moisture barrier through an additional HDPE film. 80 % of the product is from renewable sources. Low carbon footprint due to local production.

Steelex Mono light compared to mono has higher strength properties and higher moisture absorption level, making it more suitable for overseas transport.

Walki®Steelex K13
Top quality wrapping laminate using creped paper, reinforcement netting and PE coating. Strong creped kraft paper gives Walki Steelex K-13 its flexibility and stretch properties, and absorbs energy during packaging and transport. The creped paper also absorbs moisture inside the packaging. Optional VCI chemical treatment gives corrosion protection for steel, galvanized steel and aluminium.
 Walki®Steelex 25 R An excellent export packaging with a high quality crepe paper providing energy and moisture absorption together with additional elongation. The tough and durable outer film provides extra tear strength protection against moisture and airborne impurities. The Walki®Steelex 25 R is easy to separate becuause of the glue spot adhesion, making it easy to recycle after use.
Walki®Steelex G50 Walki®Steelex G50 is the perfect combination of a strong flat woven scrim and a high quality kraft paper bringing the best of both world together. The scrim provided excellent strength and barrier properties to protect the steel against influence from outside and the smooth kraft paper gives additional protection against scratches and moisture by absorbing excess fluids.
Automatic Wrapping Line
Moisture barrier creped paper provides water and energy absorption. 100 % of the wrapper is from renewable sources. Low carbon footprint due to local production.
Walki®Steelex 20 Walki-Steelex 20 is a metal wrapper designed for automated wrapping lines. The high elongation and strength properties makes it almost impossible to break during wrapping. 100 % paper based makes it easy to recycle. Stainless Steel and Aluminium
Moisture barrier provided by LDPE coating on kraft paper. Providing water and energy absorption. 85 % of the product is from renewable sources. Fully recyclable.
Walki®Steelex 30 Walki-Steelex 30 is a metal wrap designed to be used on automated wrapping lines and manual packing. Folding strips for easy handling. Mainly used for aluminium of stainless steel to protect against damages.
