Roofing Underlays

- to contribute to efficient insulation
Walki's roofing underlays have been designed to bring highest protection to building using monolithic technologies that are proven to be long lasting technologies against water, UV or heat, while allowing an excellent vapor breathability to keep insulation dry and efficient.

Walki®Roof Mono Walki®Roof Mono is the new generation of watertight, vapour open membranes. Using a new technology called Monolithic film, the functional layer is more durable than traditional micro-porous films exposed to UV and temperatures. The membrane is very strong and breathable, retaining its structural characteristics even after years of use. Moreover, it withstands chemicals used to preserve wood and oils from tools. It is also 100 % airtight and functions as a windproof shield. This prevents any undesirable airflow under the membrane and helps to reduce energy consumption. Walki®Roof PU Walki®Roof PU has been designed to further withstand harsh climate. It is a durable roofing underlay based on thermoplastic polyurethane. It is waterproof with optimal air tightness and water vapour transmission rate to prevent undesirable water leakage while allowing moisture to pass through. In addition, the membrane is resistant to UV-radiation (5000h UV) and heat which are important and essential features in any roofing underlay.
