Hoodliner

- skins for lighter more silent and safer cars
Hood insulation is typically made of a thin layer of material with sound-deadening properties. The effectiveness of this acoustic barrier is dependent on its ability to convert sound waves into heat energy. Our Walki®FeatherForm high temperature-resistant glass veil reinforced skin, together with the special acoustic barrier, helps to dampen the noise of the engine so that neither those in the car, nor those outside it, would be disturbed. In addition, it ensures that the paint on the hood lasts longer.
Walki®FeatherForm Walki®FeatherForm is a light-weight thermal and acoustic barrier skin used as a hoodliner with a good dimensional stability also at elevated temperatures. It has an excellent flame retardant and oil repellent surface.
