Walki®Pack Tray is our dedicated range for pressed or folded board food trays. Each structure is based on premium SBS board combined through glue lamination technology using water-based adhesives, ensuring durability and formability even at high temperatures.
Customers can choose between:- Ultra-thin PET-lined solutions (<5% plastic) recyclable as monomaterial in paper streams.
- PET-free alternatives (UR Brown, UR White and U Brown HomeCompost) for full fibre recyclability and home compostability.

Its combination of renewable fibres, low-carbon glue lamination, and home-compostable design creates a high-performance tray material that helps reduce both CO₂ emissions and dependence on fossil-based packaging.
Board trays provide structure, safety and convenience. They keep food intact during transport, preserve freshness and allow consumers to heat or serve directly from the pack – ideal for frozen and ready meals.
Unlike plastic or aluminium trays, Walki®Pack Tray is fibre-based, recyclable and renewable. It reduces plastic waste, offers good grease and heat resistance and keeps fingers cool to the touch due to low heat conductivity.
Walki®Pack Tray uses SBS board combined with either a thin PET film (<5%) or a PET-free fibre-based barrier. Both are ovenable up to 220°C for 60 minutes, recyclable in paper streams and safe for direct food contact.
