When you visit Walki’s website we will collect technical data of your visit according to your choices in the Cookie Preference Centre.
If you want to contact us directly you may use specific Contact Form which can be found from header of the website. When you use the Contact Form we will collect following data: name, job title, company/organisation, city/country, email and your actual message. Your telephone number is optional. You may also contact us via email. When you contact us please be informed that depending on the nature of your message your data may be added to CRM or SRM databases.
For recruitment purposes we will collect more detailed data directly from you. In recruitment we do not collect personal data from other sources without your specific consent.
All personal data is collected for business purposes only. We do not sell or lease your personal information to anyone. Your personal data might be shared with third parties if it is required to complete the service or transaction, or it is required by the law.
We process personal data based on the following legal grounds:

We do not sell or lease your personal information to anyone. Your personal data may be shared with selected third parties where necessary, such as:

International data transfers
By default, the collected personal data is processed and stored in the EU. However, Walki is a global organisation, with legal entities, business processes, organisational structures and technical IT solutions that may involve transfers to countries outside the European Economic Area.
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are applied, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, together with supplementary measures where required, to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

Walki supports these data subject’s rights, including access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with supervisory authority (data protection authority).

Security of your information
To help protect the privacy of data and personally identifiable information you transmit through the use of this site, we maintain physical, technical and administrative safeguards. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. We restrict access to your personal data to those employees who need to know the information to provide services to you. In addition, we train our employees about the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your information. We commit taking appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce our employees’ data protection responsibilities.
Data storage and retention
Your personal data is stored by Walki on our servers, and on the servers of the cloud-based database management services we engage. Servers are primarily located within the European Economic Area, including Finland.
Walki retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet legal, regulatory or contractual requirements.
Walki retains personal data of business partners and recruitment candidates for up to 2 years after the end of the business relationship or recruitment process. Personal data processed for marketing purposes is retained until you withdraw your consent, as described above.
Personal data submitted via contact forms or direct enquiries is retained for as long as necessary to handle your request and any follow-up, and may be stored longer where required for business or legal purposes.
Data collected through analytics tools is retained in accordance with the configuration and retention settings of the respective service providers.
When personal data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
